SENSORY SPACES
A sensory room is a specially designed space that provides both calming and stimulating environments for individuals with sensory processing needs. These rooms are commonly used in various settings to support individuals, families, and groups who may benefit from sensory regulation.
Sensory rooms offer a structured environment where individuals can engage in activities that help either stimulate or calm their sensory systems, promoting self-regulation and emotional well-being. They often include features such as dim lighting, tactile surfaces, weighted items, and auditory elements, all tailored to individual sensory needs.
