Our Inclusion Project Officers all have a lived experience of a Hidden Disability, they are vital to all events we work at. They have two main roles on match day which include Sensory Room Assistant and our Welcome Team/Stadium Support Squad.
The Sensory Room Assistant works with our Occupational Therapist in the Sensory Room, this includes setting and packing up the room as required, talking to visitors that come into the space, showing visitors around the space and explaining items that they may use, discussing other inclusive events we work at and working with venue staff.
The Welcome Team/Stadium Support Squad are the team you will see as you enter the stadium, they are there to greet patrons and assist anyone that needs assistance as they enter the stadium. They are your first line of inclusion and access, they will support you whether you need to find your seat, find the sensory room, or have any questions about what to expect at the event. Once the game has started, they will be a visible presence around the venue to assist individuals in need.
