The Team Hawthorn is a powerhouse AFL club with a rich history of success. They play home games at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, as well as UTAS Stadium in Tasmania.

The Partnership Hawthorn partners with The Inclusion Project to provide sensory rooms at both the MCG and Marvel Stadium, ensuring their "Happy Team" includes fans of all abilities.

A lanyard to wear from arrival at the stadium to allow staff to recognise that you may require additional assistance throughout the event or matchday

Access to Sensory Friendly Space which is designed to provide sensory relief and stimulation for people living with sensory needs. Operated by Occupational Therapists to provide individualised support for participants.

What loud noises can happen at the game?

The loud stadium siren sounds at the start and end of every quarter. When Hawthorn scores a goal, the crowd roars, and the theme song "We’re a Happy Team at Hawthorn" is played loudly after a win.

Are there any rounds that will be particularly loud?

The Easter Monday clash against Geelong and the Anzac Day Eve match are traditionally the loudest home games.

What are average crowd sizes

At the MCG, Hawthorn averages 45,000 to 55,000 fans. Marvel Stadium games are typically around 25,000 to 35,000.

Is the stadium easy to get to by Public Transport?

MCG: Use Richmond or Jolimont Stations.

Marvel Stadium: Use Southern Cross Station, which is connected to the stadium via a pedestrian bridge. Trams 30, 86, and 96 also stop nearby.
